    What Vinylogix takes care of

Four jobs Vinylogix does for you every day, for the shop floor and the warehouse.

    • One catalogue

Every record carries its grading, supplier, shelf and storage location. An in-app alert tells you when stock you adjust drops below your threshold.

    • Reserved stock

A request order reserves its copies the moment it is placed. A copy in an open request cannot be ordered a second time.

    • Trade orders

Trade buyers order from your catalogue themselves. When you take orders on request, you approve each one, add a discount if you like, and Vinylogix makes the invoice.

    • EU VAT

Check a client’s VAT number in VIES with one click. Request orders from clients with a verified VAT number get reverse charge, and the Spanish clients you flag get recargo de equivalencia.

    Get the stock in

Scan the barcode with your phone camera or a USB scanner. Artist, title, label, year, tracklist, cover and format come from Discogs. You add what only you know.

Goldmine grading, media and sleeve apart

Grade the vinyl and the sleeve separately, so a NM record in a VG sleeve is priced like one.

    Questions shops and distributors ask

Something else you want to know before you start?

    Ask us

Yes. There is one stock. Who can see your catalogue is set by the storefront visibility, and when you take orders on request, you can add a discount as you approve them.

No. We use Discogs to fill in release data when you scan a barcode or enter a Discogs ID. Nothing is listed on Discogs and orders are not synced with it.

Payments through Stripe Connect are paid out to your own Stripe account, and PayPal pays you directly. Vinylogix charges a platform fee per sale depending on your plan.

Check the buyer’s VAT number in VIES with one click. When it is verified and the buyer is in another EU country, their request orders are invoiced with reverse charge. Stripe Tax calculates VAT on card payments through Stripe when you switch it on, and Spanish sellers can apply recargo de equivalencia per client on request orders.

Yes. Import it as a CSV. Rows with a barcode or Discogs ID are enriched from Discogs, so you only fill in grading, price and location where they are missing.

No. Vinylogix runs in the browser on desktop, tablet and phone. Scan with the phone camera, or plug in a USB barcode scanner if you process a lot of stock.
