What we can tell you now

Facts about how the platform works today.

• Signing in is handled by Firebase Authentication, which keeps you logged in by storing your session in your browser.
• Vinylogix keeps a few functional items in your browser: your sign-in, your cookie choice and interface preferences such as the sidebar state and recent scans.
• Google Analytics for Firebase measures how the site is used and sets analytics cookies. It only runs after you accept it in the cookie banner.
• When you pay, you do so on Stripe’s or PayPal’s own checkout, which may set its own cookies. Vinylogix does not store card data.
• Permissions are tied to your account. Purchase prices are protected by the database’s security rules.
• Shops can export stock, orders and clients as CSV. For any other data, email contact@vinylogix.com.
